When Patrick Norton recognized the need for a website that best reflected the high energy and welcoming environment of The Narrows Center for the Arts he lost little time in contacting “Kevin McNally and his highly professional and responsive team.” “We decided to work with Interactive Palette based on their many recommendations and successes,” said Norton, Executive Director of the Fall-River based cultural center. “We wanted a website design firm that was local, but also one that got what we are about and what we do and Interactive Palette came through for us completely.” The former Narrows Center website, said Norton, was “tired, cumbersome and with no social media or editing capabilities.” Fast forward a couple months later to a new website that captures the vibrant landscape of the Narrows Center for the Arts, a 280-seat facility that hosts national and local visual artists, musicians, writers and performers. “Interactive Palette did a great job with the design and functionality of the site; it now has the dynamic look to reflect what our organization is about,” said Norton. The vibrant website showcases the range of activities held at the popular non-profit performing arts venue, features a photo gallery of future and past performers and makes it easy to order tickets online. In addition, enhancements have been made to increase the website’s blogging capabilities and the site now includes a variety of social media, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Interactive Palette introduced a Content Management System (CMS) to the website to allow The Narrows staff the ability to add and edit all content, upload images, PDF’s and other media as needed. “From understanding our needs to providing CMS training to being responsive throughout, our experience with Interactive Palette was first-rate,” said Norton. “We now have a colorful, lively and informative website that truly paints the picture of what The Narrows Center is all about.”
