Back in 2009, my aunt Sister Eleanor, who was based in Tanzania asked me to design a website for the Holy Union Sisters. At that time they needed some assistance with how they managed their web presence. I was grateful for the opportunity to work with her again because I had previously designed a website for a Tanzanian organization for which she ran.
This time around we had to fine tune the existing site because over the last few years a lot of new content and features had been added and it was becoming very convoluted. We worked with the Director of Mission Advancement Ken Gustin to identify the key areas we needed to address. We worked to simplify the site and bring more focus to the most important aspects.
The revisions to the site have been well received, by both the sisters and visitors to the site. Here’s a quick rundown of the fantastic results we’ve seen since the new website launched:
🚀 A 26% increase in website traffic in the first month after the launch compared to last year.
📈 A 14% increase in organic traffic from search engines, thanks to improved search engine rankings.
🕒 An average session duration of 2 minutes and 19 seconds, showing increased user engagement.
Working with the Holy Union Sisters over the years has been an incredible experience, and seeing the positive impact of our work on their organization is truly rewarding. The entire team at Interactive Palette is grateful for the opportunity to help make a difference in their online presence.
