Low and behold, something has worked! The southshoreguide.net now has over 100 businesses and continues to grow. They began with a very modest newsletter showcasing one business a month and have expanded it over the year to include a Business of the Month, Articles of the Month, and a Press Release of the Month. The Articles of the Month section is intended to give businesses on the South Shore another vehicle for advertising their particular expertise. The Newsletter, which just recently began including Press Releases of the Month and will be adding Business Events of the Month in the next few issues.
The online directory also now showcases below their Business of the Month, Ten Featured Business in an effort to give as much visibility to the growing businesses on the South Shore of Massachusetts as possible. So far the southshoreguide.net has been completely free of charge, but this too will be changing in the future. Kevin plans to add expanded services, such as the ability to include your business logo on the front page of the guide for a fee. The southshoreguide.net's mission is to help businesses on the South Shore promote themselves to people in their neighborhoods, visitors and each other. It is with great pride that Kevin continues to keep the southshoreguide.net fresh and interesting and moving in a forward direction to meet the needs of the South Shore community.

W. Bridgewater, MA - November 2004 - The southshoreguide.net is the brainchild of Kevin McNally of Interactive Palette. Since he lived on the South Shore of Massachusetts he decided it would be great to have a place for businesses on the South Shore to advertise their companies and events. Out of this idea grew the southshoreguide.net, an online business directory complete with an area for articles, press releases and a business calendar.
