When Morton Hospital & Medical Center needed to accept real-time credit card payments and ensure they could update their multilingual and mobile website content easily from any web browser, they came to Interactive Palette. And in the words of Holly Nighelli, public affairs associate at the Taunton-based hospital, these goals were more than met by “Kevin McNally and his remarkable team of professionals.”

To best address specific requirements, Interactive Palette held an initial meeting with Nighelli and Harry Lemieux, the hospital’s chief information and innovation officer. At the preliminary session a work flow chart and client questionnaire were provided to determine the facility’s medical website design needs.

Consistent updates were presented as Interactive Palette developed the enhanced website, one that features a comprehensive and user-friendly physician search.

The medical website design includes a new Content Management System (CMS) that makes it easy to add support for multiple languages.

The enhanced site, now available in English and Portuguese, includes a special section that highlights the hospital’s services and awards; a complete calendar of events; improved search engine optimization to draw increased web traffic; a new Facebook page; and the launch of a Google analytics account.

Interactive Palette also assisted in the creation of a real time credit processing mechanism for online payment and donations to the hospital.

Moreover, Interactive Palette developed a mobile site to further meet the hospital’s medical website design needs. The mobile site is an optimized version of the main website that automatically displays on a wide variety of “smart phones.” Interactive Palette built a mobile editor into the main website’s CMS allowing for customized mobile content; the mobile website provides general information about Morton Hospital & Medical Center, in addition to a physician search.
