When the principals of Bristol Tape Corporation – a family-owned company specializing in the distribution and conversion of pressure sensitive tapes – wanted to develop a new website for their growing Fall River, Massachusetts business, they turned to the Internet and “Googled local web designers.”
“Interactive Palette was one of the first developers that came up in our results and as I looked through their web design portfolio and saw they had designed websites for a quite a few local businesses that I was familiar with, I knew we had found the right organization to develop our site,” said Caryn Borden, Customer Service Representative at Bristol Tape Corporation.
The team at Interactive Palette, led by Owner Kevin McNally, held an initial meeting with company members to address both the website’s overall design and specific requirements. A work flow chart and client questionnaire were provided during the preliminary session to best determine the company’s design needs.
Interactive Palette then began the task of creating a search-engine friendly and professionally styled site for Bristol Tape Corporation. Key features include: a quick slideshow editor to easily promote key offerings on the company’s homepage; a management area to publish their latest company news; an automatic site-wide search for visitors to ensure simplicity in locating desired information; and an easy-to-use Content Management System that allows Bristol Tape staff to edit rich content by freely changing text and photos.
Consistent updates were supplied by Interactive Palette throughout the entire web design and development process, a professional courtesy that Bristol Tape Corporation found “very impressive,” said Borden.
“The entire team at Interactive Palette was organized and very proficient throughout the entire process,” said Borden. “Whenever I had a question they were quick to respond and made things easy to understand; they even came to our facility and provided training on making updates to the website – they exceeded all expectations on every level.”
